Journaling Workshops in the Month of May! Attachment(s)

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Have you always wanted to write, but weren’t sure how to get started?

Journaling is something that is different for all of us. Some write about their day to day life, other write about their thoughts and what is going on in the world around them, others write publicly for an audience about a specific subject. Our journaling class will help you to figure out what type of journal is best for you and through writing prompts help you uncover what it is that you have to say. This class will be the first in a series of storytelling classes that will help you find your own story and share it with the world.

Offered on Mondays OR Fridays.  Classes will be held on Mondays from 6 to 8 pm starting the 3rd and running through the 24th and Fridays from 1 to 3 pm starting on the 7th and running through the 28th.

If you would like to attend and think you might need accommodations in order to participate, please let me know before the first class so that I can make the necessary arrangements.

  • Week 1 – What type of Journal works for you?
  • Week 2 – Writing Prompts – Writing something that matters
  • Week 3 – What’s the Purpose? – Discovering why you write.
  • Week 4 – Sharing you story – Blogs and online journaling.
