Youth Encouraged to Weigh-In on AAPS Superintendent Search
If you are an AAPS student, especially if you have a disability, your input is needed!
A special forum is being scheduled for you to give input into the search for a new Superintendent of the Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Wednesday, October 27th, 5:30 p.m.
Downtown Public Library in the 4th floor Board conference room.
You are invited to participate in a community forum hosted by the Youth Senate and the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education to provide input into the Superintendent search process. We want to hear from students about what they want in a Superintendent. The forum will help develop a list of desired qualities in a Superintendent. It is important that we hear from you as the Board of Education begins the important process of finding the best person to lead the district.
This is an opportunity for you to meet the search firm representatives and to participate in the process. If you are unable to attend the forum there is an online survey that you can access to contribute to the desired list of qualities. The survey is available on the AAPS website, www.a2schools.org through October 31st.
Two additional community forums are scheduled for Oct. 26 at Skyline High and Oct. 27th at Huron High both beginning at 6:30 p.m. which you are welcome to attend!
