Games, Thrills, and Fun Were Had at This Year’s Halloween Party

Friday, October 29th, 2010

This year’s youth Halloween party was a lot of fun!  Twenty kids came to the Ann Arbor CIL in costume, ready for a night of games, thrills and tons of fun.  It was a jam-packed night with something for everyone.  Each youth had the chance to decorate a pumpkin, bake Halloween cookies, and bob for apples, which was the popular game of the night as everyone cheered and chanted for each other.

We ended the night with a costume contest.  There were four categories: best costume, funniest costume, most original costume and scariest costume.  A queen on her throne won the best category.  A youth dressed as a Ninja won scariest, while someone dressed as a purple Care Bear won funniest.  And finally, the original award was given to a girl dressed as Sailor Moon.

Thanks to all who came out to make it a great night!
