Exciting new renovations are underway at the Ann Arbor CIL. Thanks to the generous support from the community, we are moving forward with three key additions that will expand our core mission “to be a community enrichment, learning, and advocacy center improving the lives of people with disabilities.”

The expansion will include:

• An accessible garden with raised beds that will be open to the community and will eventually feed a community with hearty produce that has been cultivated by people with disabilities.

• Additional office space for Michigan Gifts. Michigan Gifts is a new social mission driven business enterprise powered by the Ann Arbor CIL that creates distinctive gifts baskets and floral arrangements while providing job training, employment and volunteer opportunities for talented people with and without a disability. • Performance space for Diversibility Theater, a creative diversity and disability awareness acting troupe.
