Youth in Transition to Adulthood Support Groups

Support Groups

Presented by the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living
in partnership with Children’s Special Health Care Services.
Each of the following events will include a support group-specific to care partners as well as a separate support group for youths in transition to adulthood.
Sessions will run from 6:30-8:00 pm on the dates listed below.
  • Youth in Transition to Adulthood is a support group for youth ages 14 to 26 with chronic health issues and/or disabilities.
  • Parent/Care Partner Support is a support group for parents and caregivers of youth with chronic health issues and/or disabilities.

Parents/Care Partners: Guardianships vs. Durable Power of Attorney
Thurs. January 11th – Youth in Transition: Voting
Parents/Care Partners: SSI and SSDI
