Coming from Ypsilanti to the Ann Arbor CIL

Take the #6 bus traveling inbound to downtown Ann Arbor. It will arrive at the Ann Arbor CIL at :12 and :42 of each daytime service hour and at :12 of each evening and weekend service hour. For more information, check the route map by clicking here.

Coming from Ann Arbor to the Ann Arbor CIL

There are several different options:

Riders coming from Ann Arbor can get to the Ann Arbor CIL most safely by riding out to the Meijer’s on Carpenter Rd on the outbound #5, #6, or #22 and then transferring to the inbound #6 which stops at the Ann Arbor CIL.

Riders can also take the outbound #6 bus, but the stops are more than 0.5 mi from the Ann Arbor CIL and it can be dangerous crossing busy streets. We recommend taking the inbound #6 bus from Meijer’s on Carpenter for the safest route.

Leaving the Ann Arbor CIL, traveling back to Ann Arbor

Passengers traveling back to Ann Arbor can board the inbound #6 at the Ann Arbor CIL at :12 and :42 of each hour until 6:42 pm. On M-Th evenings and weekends the bus picks up at the Ann Arbor CIL only at :12 after the hour during bus service hours.

Leaving the Ann Arbor CIL, traveling back to Ypsilanti

For passengers traveling back to Ypsilanti, the safest route is to take the #6 inbound to Briarwood and switch to an outbound #6 or #7 there.

Passengers can choose to get off or on the outbound #6 bus on Ellsworth, however be aware that is 0.4 miles walk to or from our building and there is not a traffic light on Ellsworth at S. Research Park Drive (across Ellsworth from the Social Security Administration).
