Group Workshops
Our career workshops are open to the public. All are welcome, whether you have a disability or not. For a current list of workshops, please check out our events page. Throughout the year, we teach workshops on topics such as:
- Do What You Love! A three-day workshop to help you identify what your true talents and interests are, and what marketable skills you have to offer an employer in the field of your choice. This workshop is based on the book, “What Color Is Your Parachute,” by Richard Nelson Bolles, the best-selling career book in the world.

Job-Seeker Discussion Groups
Unemployment isn’t easy. And all too often, we do too much job-searching alone. To give your job-search a boost, why not join us at one of our job-seeker discussion groups? Connect with others who are going through the same challenges you are. Job Talk meets every Thursday from 10 am – 12 pm.
Walk & Talk – Job Seeker’s Walking Group
Get Fit and Get Connected! Join us at the Ann Arbor CIL for walking and networking with fellow job-seekers. Put in your laps while getting connected walking around Research Park Drive. Every Thursday, from 8:45 am – 9:45 am, right before Job Talk.
