Sports, Recreation & ArtsIRide Help Out with IRide

Does the IRide sound like fun?  Well, it is!

If you would like to participate in this great event but do not want to ride, please consider being an IRide volunteer. You will get to spend time with an incredible group of people, work hard, and have a really good time.  Not to mention, you will support the great work of Disability Network / Michigan CILs!

An event like the IRide cannot happen without help from a lot of people both before and during the ride. We need people who can help with any of the following activities:

  • Unload bikes and load wheelchairs each morning
  • Pick-up food and assist with lunch and dinner preparation and clean-up
  • Load bikes and help organize supplies every evening
  • Check the route for the next day for any problems

Trained massage therapists who are able to work on sore muscles in the evenings also make the riders very happy and keep them moving smoothly for the entire route.

Your talent and efforts will help make this event a success! Whether you can pitch in at a single stop or come along for the entire ride, we need your help.

Please contact Mary Stack by email or phone (734-971-0277 x 22) to learn more about how you can get involved!
