Jose Bartolomei

Attorney of the CIL Board of Directors

José Javier Bartolomei is a Senior Attorney at the law firm Miller Canfield and located in the Ann Arbor office. His practice includes litigation and transactional work for commercial lenders, banks, finance companies, and automotive manufacturers and suppliers. He has represented clients in the automotive, health care, real estate, oil and gas, swaps, derivatives and securitization industries throughout the duration of his career.

José is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Michigan, and Texas and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.

He is active in the Ann Arbor community through his involvement in the CIL, the Washtenaw County United Way and the University of Michigan's Natural Science Exhibit Museum.
