Guy Talk is a social/support group for young men with disabilities ages 14-26.   In guy talk William will be working with men to talk about issues in their lives that may be uncomfortable to talk to a parent, caregiver, teacher or female.  He will provide a judgment free, open forum that will enable the young men to feel free to share and find a solution to social issues that affect men with disabilities.  Not only will William use the open forum to freely process social situations, he will be helping the men by role modeling, role plays, personal visioning, and expressions through music and building.  William is a master’s level, psychology therapist and wants to utilize his education and therapeutic experience to help consumers remove social barriers that may affect them on a daily basis with friends, family, and school.

Girl Talk is a social/support group for young women with disabilities ages 14-26. This winter, Anna will be helping females with disabilities build personal skills and strengthening friendships through a variety of fun and interactive activities.  The theme of this series is capturing personal dreams! Examples of activities include film, crafting, and storytelling.  Anna will help guide young adult females in removing social barriers.  Anna provides a comfortable and nonjudgmental environment for women to express themselves freely so that solutions in social restrictions can be met.  Anna is currently a master’s of social work student with a focus in child and family services, she plans to bring her experience and education to the group and help consumers realize personal potential, identify strengths and maximize independence.
