Thanks, Michigan Law Students!


This week 23 law students from the University of Michigan Law School joined us to help research and plan new ideas for our advocacy initiatives. Students spent the day researching advocacy programs around education, employment, housing, transportation, Social Security, and guardianship issues and identified concepts to replicate in the Ann Arbor area. They also took a break, rolled up their sleeves, and helped us clean up our grounds, warehouse, and Loan Closet. Whew! Thanks, law… Thanks, Michigan Law Students!

Disability Pride in #GettingOutTheVote


Voter turnout hit record highs in yesterday’s primary election in Michigan, and people with disabilities were a big part of that. The Ann Arbor CIL led a #GetOutTheVote campaign on Facebook leading up to the election.
