Candeice serves as a community transition coordinator, helping individuals transition from living in nursing homes and other care facilities into independent living. She takes care of a wide variety of details to make transitions successful and rewarding for those she serves. Prior to joining the Monroe CIL, she worked as a behavioral therapist in the field of ABA. She obtained her masters in mental health and wellness (Family dynamics) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and has recently returned to school to study psychology in ABA to continue in her career advocating for self care and mental health.
